Pamplona’s Commonwealth of Municipalities annual report is a collectible item since 2009, made every year using a different technique. This edition was created working hand to hand with Elena M., a silkscreen artist.
Using organic waste and metal, paper, and other recycled items as a starting point, a limited edition of silkscreen prints was made.
The color palette is based on and inspired by the decomposing colors (brown, green, bluish).
The artist created the silkscreen, I learned the technique with her and I made a couple of them. Later on, they were photographed and I used them as the layer on top of which graphics where constructed.
Color, texture, delicacy and inspiration in the decaying process of food and materials are the key elements of this project. The collaboration in the creative process was incredible and enriching. The book was also part of a solo exhibition in one of the restored water mill on the river park.
